This Saturday, Dec 3rd in Blackfoot at the Blackfoot Performing Arts Center (attached to Blackfoot high school new gym), come out & support Tribal member Tyson Shay (teacher at Chief Taghee Elem Academy/singer/grass dancer/father,etc) will be vying for the ‘Mirror Ball Trophy.’ The competition is between the six local ‘stars’ from Bingham county area and the winner is selected based on the audience!! So we are asking friends & family of Tyson and community members to come out & support TYSON SHAY this Saturday night!
Last year, Randy’L Teton, Public Affairs Manager for the Tribes, competed and was beat by MVMS Principal Wes Jensen. This year, Ms. Teton will serve as one of three panel judges for this Saturdays performance.
Its worthy to note, that these dancers only have 5 days to learn a new dance (they dont know what it is until the 1st day of practice) and then openly showcase their new dance moves to the public. So come on out & see who will win this years trophy!!!
