FHBC approves one-time CARES ACT GENERAL FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

OFFICIAL NOTICE: The Fort Hall Business Council has officially passed a resolution approving a one-time CARES ACT GENERAL FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE in the amount of $800.00 to both adult & minor Shoshone-Bannock Tribal members.

The purpose of the SBT General Financial Assistance Program is to provide a one-time payment of $800 in economic assistance to enrolled Tribal members who have experienced financial hardships due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Funding of this program is in accordance with the federal CARES Act Relief Fund and is non-taxable as a Tribal general welfare assistance program.

An application will be required in order to receive this assistance due to federal reporting requirements. The application and a distribution date is currently being coordinated and not yet determined.
