Date Posted: 03/25/2010 Description: Why Write A Will? A legal will is a document that records your wishes. It is a planning tool, regarding funeral, finances, and trust lands. As such, a will becomes a great gift that you give to your family; a legal will identifies for everyone, who you want to receive what and how much. It is your best opportunity to control the distribution of your assests (things). Spending a little time now and going through the process of putting your affairs and wishes in order, your loved ones will be spared the agony that your family might experience. Once the will is written, legal wills can be changed, rewritten or amended to reflect changes in your wishes. If you become seriously enable or pass on and no current legal will is made, your family, loved ones and the government may be forced to make the decisions without any help from anyone. Fort Hall Landowners Alliance has arranged to have Attorney, Fred Zundell in our office to help those people who are interested in writing their will. Fred Zundell is an attorney who works in the Idaho Legal Aid Office, located in Pocatello, Zundell will be available in the FHLA once a month on the last Friday afternoon of each month. He may increase his time, if he has a lot of requests. March 26 at 1 p.m. is the first date.
