The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes will observe Tribal Leaders Day on Monday, February 16, 2026. Tribal government offices will be closed in honor of this day.
Tribal Leaders Day is a time to recognize and celebrate the leadership, vision, and service of our tribal leaders of the past and present, who have guided our people with strength, wisdom, and commitment to our sovereignty. Their dedication has helped protect our homelands, uphold our Treaty Rights, and ensure a strong future for future generations.
On this day, we reflect with gratitude on those who have carried the responsibility of leadership on behalf of our Tribes.
