COVID19 UPDATE FOR FORT HALL RESERVATION

Fort Hall- Even though Fort Hall is seeing low positive cases, tribal health officials are still stressing to keep your facemasks and keep your hands washed to protect yourselves from the COVID19 variants. Our current vaccination rate is 49% which has increased by 1% over the past 2-3 weeks. The ultimate vaccination goal for Fort Hall is 75% by the end of the year.

MASS SCREENING UPDATES
According to Tribal Health, since there has been a 41% decrease in testing at the community sites over the past weeks, the screenings will terminate this week on July 1st.
Here are the results from this week’s screenings:
Monday, June 28- 80 tests, no positives
Tuesday, June 29 – 30 tests, no positives

VACCINE UPDATE
To date, the Tribes have given a total of 5,585 vaccines to the Fort Hall community. Of this number, 2,960 are fully vaccinated which provides an estimate of covering 49% of our community population. The vaccination numbers include Native Americans, Shoshone-Bannock Tribal members 12 years and older, and non-tribal employees and residents that work and live in Fort Hall.
For those that are fully vaccinated, you can pick up your $50 vaccine incentive at Not-tsoo Gah-nee IHS Clinic (Vaccine card & Tribal ID/CIB required)
