FORT HALL – To enhance Fort Hall residents’ safety and quality of life, Eagle Road is set to undergo reconstruction.
To ensure the safety of workers and the public, Eagle Road, located between Ross Fork and Agency Roads, will be closed to all traffic from April 14 to August 25, 2025.
Eagle Road will be reconstructed for 0.5 miles, including widening, landscaping, sidewalks, and safety lighting.
Only Eagle Road residents will have access to their properties during the road closure.
Trading Post access will be detoured through T.P. Gas off Ross Fork Road. Before the closure, detour signs will be posted with alternative routes along Mission and Hi Line roads.
Transportation Director Anthony Broncho said, “We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.”
Idaho Congressman Mike Simpson secured $3.85 million for the Eagle Road construction project through the Community Project Funding (CPF) in the Fiscal Year 2024 Transportation, Housing & Urban Development, and Related Agencies Bill.
