Fort Hall Business Council Chairman Lee Juan Tyler testified in Washington D.C.

Fort Hall Business Council Chairman Lee Juan Tyler testified in Washington D.C. on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 to the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Interior, Environment and Related Agencies for American Indian and Alaska Native Public Witness Days along with over eighty other Tribal leaders. He testified on the Gay Mine, Law Enforcement needs, Transportation & Road Maintenance and the Boundary Survey Error.

He met with Idaho Congressional delegates Simpson, Crapo and Risch addressing many other issues and needs of the Tribes and with COLT (Coalition of Large Tribes) leaders.

Tyler also had the opportunity to meet with Montana Senator Tester and Congresswoman Melanie Stansbury (D-NM). It was a busy yet productive week for our Chairman!
