Michael Alan Tindore Sr
Ross Fork District Representative
Michael Alan Tindore Sr. is serving his first term on the Fort Hall Business Council and resides in the Bannock Creek District.
Raised in Fort Hall and Gibson, h comes from the Tindore/Tendore, Osborne, Dixey, and La Vatta families. He is the great-great-grandson of R.W. Dixey, an early tribal leader who advocated for his people and helped preserve tribal songs and traditions.
Tindore began working at the age of 14 and has built a career dedicated in service to the community. He worked for many years at the Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel, advancing into leadership positions, and later helped operate his family business, Indigenous Supplies.
Most recently, he served students and families at Shoshone-Bannock Jr./Sr. High School in several roles, including Student-to-Parent Success Coordinator and McKinney-Vento Liaison.
As a Councilman, Tindore is focused on strengthening economic stability, expanding workforce and vocational training opportunities, and addressing substance abuse challenges. He believes the Tribes’ greatest resources are its youth and elders and is committed to protecting and supporting both.
He and his wife, Leah, have been married for 11 years and have raised seven children while also serving as foster parents. He strives to lead with humility, hard work, and unity and welcomes tribal members to share their thoughts and concerns.
