Fort Hall Food Distribution Program gives “Disaster Boxes”

COMMUNITY NOTICE: 

The Fort Hall Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) Commodities program is operating, business as usual, and all income and residencey requirements still apply. However, if someone does not want to apply for the FDPIR, or just needs a little extra food, we are offering a smaller “disaster boxes” to anyone that needs it. No income requirements.

UPDATE: “DISASTER BOX” DISTRIBUTION WILL START NEXT TUESDAY, 4-14-20, AND EVERY TUESDAYS FROM 1 P.M. TO 4 P.M. UNTIL APRIL 30, 2020.

THE BOX WILL CONTAIN:

2 CANS OF MEAT
1 PEANUT BUTTER
1 JUICE
2 CANS OF FRUIT OR 2 UNITS OF DRIED FRUIT
4 CANS OF VEGETABLES
2 BEANS
2 SOUPS
1 CEREAL
2 PASTAS/CRACKERS
1 FLOUR
1NFD Milk or 2 UHT Milks

Additional disaster household food packages will be available based on household size, i.e., a household of 4 may receive two food boxes.
