General Elections – Get Out and Vote

It’s your week to vote, be sure to make sure your voice is heard:

  • Early Voting: May 29th & 30th 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM in the Tribal Business Center Dome Room
  • General Election Day Voting: May 31st 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM in the Tribal Business Center Dome Room
    • Followed by the official counting of ballots in the Council Chambers Friday evening at approximately 9:00 PM.

If you cannot vote on Friday, we highly encourage you to vote early on Wednesday or Thursday!

If you are not registered, you can register at the polls! Please remember to bring your valid Tribal ID.

Voters can vote for up to THREE (3) candidates, but NO MORE than 3. This is a very common voting mistake. If you vote for 4, your ballot will not count. This also means that you do not have to vote for 3, you can also vote for 1 candidate or 2 candidates.

The second most common mistake, voters not connecting the black line on the ballot.

Did you know? If you make a mistake on your ballot, you can ask for a new one. Don’t be afraid to ask for a new ballot. It is better to admit you made an error, than for your vote not to count.
