SHO-BAN HIGH SCHOOL TAKING SAFETY PRECAUTIONS=

Fort Hall– Sho-Ban Jr/Sr high school (SBHS) is taking preventative precautions today due to the recent news of neighboring Blackfoot School District shutting down. According to Jonathan Braack, Superintendent/Principal of SBHS, “we are going to ‘lockdown and keep teaching,’ all extremity doors will be locked. Classroom doors are locked, and we have an armed Fort Hall Police Officer on site. Students will not be allowed to go outside.”

Sho-Ban high has no school tomorrow, March 2, 2018 for an in-school Record Day. Jonathan further states, “We will work hard to keep the kids safe, even though we have not received any threats. We take what’s going on in our community very serious and today’s lockdown is purely a safety precaution.”

To keep updated with the school notices, please follow the school Facebook page by searching and liking, ‘Sho-Ban High’ or visit their website, www.sbd537.org.  The school also has a text wire that sends notifications, to receive these text notices call the school at 208-238-4200.
