Shoshone-Bannock Community Health Center Earns Community Health Quality Recognition Awards

Fort Hall- The Shoshone-Bannock Community Health Center (HRSA) has recently received three awards, “Access Enhancer”, “Covid-19 Public Health Champion”, and “Health Disparities Reducer”. Only three health centers in the state of Idaho earned these badges, many earned no badges.

According to HRSA clinic Director, Chris Waterhouse, “These awards are competitive and decided by the funding agency, we do not nominate ourselves so that makes these awards feel extra special to us.”

Furthermore, Waterhouse states, “Thank you to the community for giving us the opportunity to provide medical care to our community, without our patients these awards would not have been possible.”

The Fort Hall HRSA clinic is open from 12:00pm to 8:00pm, seven days a week, and is ready to serve the community.
