Shoshone- Bannock Tribes Announce Fort Bridger Treaty Day Fireworks Celebration
FORT HALL – The Shoshone- Bannock Tribes invite the community to the annual Treaty Day Fireworks Celebration on Thursday, July 3, at the Fort Hall Rodeo Grounds. The event commemorates the historic Fort Bridger Treaty of 1868, signed on July 3 of that year. The celebration will feature a spectacular 20- minute firework show, starting promptly at 9:44 p.m. Be sure to tune in to Star 98, on 98.1, to hear the presentation during the fireworks.
Guests are encouraged to arrive early to secure good viewing spots. The Rodeo Grounds parking area will open after the Indian Relay races. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, attendees are asked to be aware of road closures and restricted areas due to ongoing construction projects: Councilman Way will be closed to the public from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m..
The festival grounds are closed for parking.
Avoid Agency Road east of Mission Road and Eagle Road east of Ross Fork to Agency.
The public is kindly asked to follow all posted traffic markers and detour signs for their safety. Patience and cooperation with traffic flow, traffic markers and detour signs for their safety. Parents and guardians are also reminded to watch young children closely, especially near roadways and parking areas. Community members who choose to light off personal fireworks are asked to do so with extreme caution and at their own risk. The School Board and Tribes respectfully ask that people do light any personal fireworks on the Sho-Ban school property if you choose to utilize the parking lot for a viewing area.
In the spirit of unity and respect, the Fort Hall Business Council reminds the community that Treaty Day is a time to honor the sacrifices and strength of our ancestors.

The Shoshone- Bannock Tribes are proud to host this celebration in partnership with the Shoshone- Bannock Casino Hotel, and a contribution from Gateway Transitional Care Center, a preferred provider and friend for so many Shoshone- Bannock members.
This special evening brings together the Fort Hall Community and surrounding areas for a night of unity and celebration under the stars.
