The Fort Hall Business Council approved a resolution on January 7, 2025 that Tribal Offices will be closed on Thursday, January 9, 2025, in alignment with the Executive Order of Closure for federal agencies and offices in remembrance of former U.S. President Jimmy Carter. 

The Tribes recognize President Jimmy Carter’s contributions to policies during his presidency, including signing the American Indian Religious Freedom Act in 1978.
