Tribes Terminate General Contractor for the Casino Expansion Project

Fort Hall- On Tuesday, April 3, 2018, the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes terminated the current general contractor for the Casino Expansion Project. The Tribes will work with the appropriate parties to retain another general contractor within 30 days to finish the construction in a timely and quality manner.

In order to mitigate damages to all parties the Tribes have requested the general contractor to continue work until April 30, 2018 to ensure an orderly transition period.

Chairman Nathan Small states, “We value the work of our subcontractors and suppliers and look forward to continuing a positive working relationship to complete our casino project.”
